Who am I?
My name’s Arturs, but I go by Arthur these days. Usually easier for everyone.
I do marketing and communications.
For the last 9+ years, I’ve had the pleasure of developing my skills among various people and companies. That experience has allowed me to gather a substantial professional toolbox.
On one hand, I’ve experienced the hectic scene of consultancy work. Changing the business models of dairy companies one week, to finding innovative solutions in banking the next. On the other hand, I have extensive experience working in startups where you can’t help but become an expert in a specific industry, wearing many different hats while trying to juggle 1432 tasks.
In both, I have found success. All that made me want to do my own thing on the side to help others achieve their goals, too.
Professionally:
Grew up in Latvia. Wanted to be a doctor and help people so I spent a year in medical school.
Figured that was not for me and left everyone and everything behind to move to Denmark. That was 9 years ago. Now I’ve kind of done it again and moved to Canada, so I’m up for a new challenge!
I’d call myself very level-headed and analytical, hence my interest in business and communication.
I’ve always liked everything design so now I get to combine both and do what I do.
Outside of work, I love travelling and exploring the outdoors. And yes, I like bikes. I’ve done most types of cycling by now, so I sometimes even call myself a cyclist.
