Airofit Pro 2.0 Packaging Design
The beginning of 2022 marked a new chapter for Airofit. New product development called for new packaging. Airofit 2.0 needed to look like an upgrade.
Software
Same as the original packaging, the mockups were made in Blender 3D so that the decision-makers would have a better grasp of what the final product would look like.
Form factor
The new box is slightly smaller. This was done to optimize our logistics for larger retail orders as our distribution partner could use preexisting bulk packaging.
New details
I added a line wave graphic to the box to add a bit of a dynamic feel. Also added the hashtag instead of spelling out our slogan to fortify Airofit’s digital presence.
The sleeve
As we were contemplating adding several colour variants, the smarter option was to make the majority of the product packaging neutral and add a sleeve over it. Production cost-wise, this was a lot more efficient than producing colour-specific boxes before knowing people’s preferencees.
New materials
To continue our sustainability goals, we went away from wrapping the cardboard with a glossy sticker, to using recycled dyed cardboard for the main box, with a glossy, embossed logo and icon.
The back
The back of the box was also refreshed with new value propositions and icons. And we can’t forget about the all-important Danish flag.
Temporary replacement
Due to a production issue that allowed Airofit to only produce white devices, we did implement a new sleeve for the time being and temporarily launched a more white-driven visual universe.
